Hi everone!!!
after a long break, where some people needed to catch their energy back. some of us have succeeded in re-energizing theirselfs. just last friday i bought my very own 12 inch cintiq tablet. it was not cheap, but a good investment. and i hve to say, its pretty... its really pretty looking.
so for all of you artists out there. keep your phones/mailboxes close, cuz one of theses days you might get a scene from me, to begin to work on.
ok.
just for the record.
there are about 4272 frames that include animation of character
each frame of animation incluse total of 4 layers.
1 line, 1 color, 1 shading, 1 ground shadow layer.
at the moment we are little over the 2000th frame.
on the internet i found a program for your own personal succes. its called WakeUp Productive.
what it means is what the title actually says. you wake up, and feel or start beeing productive.
what i learned from him so far is something i can apply to the cherry tree:
get enough sleep
then get up early, and do 30 min. of excersise (yoga, strech, running, what ever)
get your healthy first meal to start the day
shouwer, read a paper or book, and start the day!
a tip for the artists:
i know coloring or line drawing can be boring from time to time, and people get easaly distracted by checking their mails, or just go surfing on the web... there are many things you can do to distract yourself from actual work.
and here is how you can manage yourself to focus on a project for a long period of time.
the key is to focus on what ever the task you are doing for 50 minutes. no more no less.
set a timer next to your table or desk and let it count down from 50 min. in the mean time try to focus on the task (drawing the cherry tree frames) and turn off everything that could distract you, like cell phone, tv, what ever. try to do the 50 min. of focus and then take a small break. get up from your computer and get out of the building/office/house. just take a fresh nose outside if you want. our bodies are ment to move us, not keep us sitting down behind the computer all the time.
so make a plan of what you are going to do, and how you plan on chungking the task into 50 min peases. take a break every time for 5-10 min. and focus again for the next 50 min. on the next or same task.
i started doing this just yesterday. i found out i could draw more lines than i did in summer vacation when i had the tablet in my home too. i am amazed that this actually helps concentrating the mind. and with the 10 min. breaks in the meantime, i just go out do some groserees. or just walk around the block and come back. or feed the cat, i get up from my computer and do something else for a little while. and it works. it really really works!!!
anyway. i will keep you updated my friends. now i need to get out and go run around the park for a litle while (to get my hartrate pumping and renew my energy)
but keep those mailboxes open, i just might have send you a scene allready...
